The Building Maintenance Company is celebrating 25 years in business this year. Some of our customers have stuck with us for the entire time and we would very much like to thank them and all our customers for their continued business.
The Building Maintenance Company (BMC) was founded by David Ridley in 1988 and is still owned by David and his son and daughter, William and Charlotte Ridley, who have also run the business for the last 10 years or so. The mix of business sectors that we work for hasn’t changed all that much over the last 25 years, with our core clientele coming from the Leisure, Retail and Facilities Management sectors.
Some things have changed substantially over the last quarter century, most notably technology. We’ve moved from T-cards and pagers to electronic schedules, smart phones and trackers but the key elements remain unchanged – good service, good communication and good value for money.
